Variegated Liriope is a grass like perennial which features arching green leaves which are variegated with creamy yellow margins. It produces lilac flower spikes which rise above the foliage in late summer. It's blackish berries add winter interest. This plant does an excellent job lining walkways, bordering beds, circling tree trunks, or massed together to fill in bare spaces in the landscape. Prefers average, well-drained soil in sun or shade.
