Poet's Laurel is a slow-growing, elegant refined evergreen shrub. Inconspicuous greenish-yellow blooms give way to fleshy, orange-red berries, 1/4-3/8" in diameter. Provides great winter interest to shade gardens. Prefers moist, well-drained soil in shade-partial shade.

Zabel Laurel is a medium-growing, spreading, TREE shrub. Its dark green narrow leaves are slightly narrower than ‘Schipp’ Laurel. Produces small white flowers and round, black fruit. A good plant to use as a shrub border or in a foundation planting.
