This Japanese spiraea is a compact deciduous shrub that features yellow foliage and numerous pink flowers in flat top clusters in spring to mid-summer. Use as a low hedge or incorporate into foundation plantings. Grows well in average moisture, well-drained soils in full sun.

Deciduous shrub, with a mounding habit. Yellow, orange, and red foliage with purple-red blooms in late spring & summer. A great low maintenance plant, it was developed by Dr. Tom Ranny of North Carolina State University. Full sun to part shade, you can use it in borders, groups, along walkways or even as a stand-alone specimen. Deer resistant, too, along with no significant insect or disease issues.
